In this workshop, Dan Ozbörne will guide you as you paint an atmospheric, grim-dark character, using beginner-friendly techniques applicable to everything from Warhammer to Dungeons & Dragons. Learn to combine simple techniques with Villainy Ink oil washes to create a moody atmosphere quickly. 

Dan has taught classes around the world, including the Warhammer Open events, Adepticon and Las Vegas Open. He specializes in weathering techniques and awesome robots.

No advanced painting experience required. All paints and models provided. Students need only bring or purchase brushes.

Dan Ozbörne is a professional miniature painter and industry veteran based in Portland, Oregon, known for his expertise in airbrushing, volumetric lighting, and advanced weathering techniques. In addition to creating high-end commission work, he is an experienced event organizer, painting instructor, and competition judge, having taught at major North American conventions including Games Workshop Warhammer Open events, Adepticon, Game Con Canada, NOVA Open, and LVO, and served as a judge for the Minis as Art competition by Monument Hobbies, Capital Palette & the Verkos Vault Masters Paint Competition. A committed community leader, Dan’s work has been featured online and auctioned for charity raising many tens of thousands of dollars.
