What is CRITCon?

The Cascadia Regional Independent Tabletop Convention (CRITCon) is a celebration of the D.I.Y. spirit in the tabletop gaming community in the Pacific Northwest. Attendees can participate in thrilling tournaments, take painting classes and explore an array of vendor showcases, and connect with fellow gamers who share similar interests.

When and where is it?

CRITCon 2025 will be held October 24th, 25th and 26th at the Hilton Doubletree Portland, located at 1000 NE Multnomah St, Portland, OR 97232.

How do I get there and what’s parking like?

The Hilton Doubletree Portland is located a few minutes from downtown, 20 minutes from the Portland Airport and along light rail mass transit for easy access. There is also a parking garage on site which will have discounted parking for $10 per day.

How much does it cost?

Entry to CRITCon is free to shop our vendors, observe gaming, or take advantage of open play space! Specific events are ticketed and the information around those prices is on our events page.

What are the convention hours?

The main convention and vendor area is open 9 am to 10 pm Friday and Saturday, and 9 am to 6 pm on Sunday. The full convention schedule is listed here.

Can I bring in outside food and drink?

Outside food and drink is allowed, but outside alcohol is not allowed at CRITCon. There is a bar and bistro located inside of the hotel area and we are working with a vendor for alcohol options.

Are there any age restrictions?

CRITCon is open to people of all ages!
